3. Essence Forget it! 3 in 1 concealer :

This is my first time trying this brand. So I started with simple products such as the 3 in 1 concealer.

First off, the fact that it barely has a fragrance makes it a product that I'll probably use a lot. I don't like it when my face has a strong fruity smell after i apply makeup. It just doesn't feel right. So for all those who share the same thought with me and are looking for a very affordable concealer, I guess this one will do just fine for you ^-^

The consistency is very smooth and creamy wich makes it easy to apply. And it doesn't look cakey once applied. The coverage has worked fine for me. I first conceal any imperfections and then go over them with foundation. The only problem with it might be that the shades might not apply to everyone. I'd only recommend this for light skin. But i'm sure it's possible to find different shaded 3 in 1 concealers in other brands.

So as you can see above, every shade has a different purpose. One for dark circles one for blemishes and the other one against redness. So long story short you can pretty much get rid of any kind of imperfection just by using this one concealer kit.

2. The Balm Stainiac Lip & Cheek tint :

Shade : Prom Queen

This is the second "The Balm" product I tried and like all their packagings this one is pretty cute too. I have never used a lip or cheek tint before so I decided to give it a try. And I must say I'm pretty amazed. It looks very natural when applied on  lips.It gives you a cute rosy tint and it does not look glossy in any way.And the pigmentation is okay.

By the way sorry for the bad picture, I had trouble with lighting.But I uploaded it anyway so you can get an idea of what it looks like when applied on the lips. I haven't tried it on my cheeks yet. But i will do an review on that very soon.

Dislikes : The only thing I have noticed with this tint is that it tends to become a little bit sticky when layerd to much. So I suggest you wipe it off before touching it up.

1. The Balm Shadow Blush :

Shade : CabanaBoy

First thing I'd like to say about this Product is that I am obsessed with the packaging. The fact that It's vintage makes it look so attractive! And since I'm a freak for cute packaging I couldn't resist and just grabbed it.

As you can see the shade is a nice light burgundy color. It's definitely more matt than shimmerish wich is good because I like matt shades when it comes to blushes. But the awesome thing with this shade is that although it looks really matt it kind of works as a highlighter too. The light reflects really well on it. The pigmentation is better than i expected. Last time I wore it, it stayed on all day wich is just awesome ^-^

A healthy surprise for the Boyfriend

I'm so excited to finally publish our first post on this Blog yay ! :)

Terry has been stressing a lot for his upcoming exam on the 11th of January.He's been working and studying very hard and i though i would reward him by surprising him with tiny little gifts.Not only would they make him happy but they would also help him focus and feel better about the Exam :) So i went and bought him things like; Nuts,Bitter Chocolate,Oranges,Vitamin B tablets, a bunch of Post-its' and wrote a bunch of courage and determination quotes on them :) Then i went to his house, left everything on his desk and left...
 When he came home in the evening he noticed the little goodies i had left him and started reading my notes and smiled each time he read one. Seeing him happy like that was priceless :)
